The exclusion of anti-pollution equipment for assessment purposes
The Tribunal administratif du Québec («TAQ») rendered a decision last fall concerning anti-pollution systems. The TAQ had to decide whether these equipments were to be excluded from the assessed value of the property, either because forming part of the industrial process or, as being used or intended to be used for the purpose of the control of pollution.
