Description
Geneviève Dumais has been a paralegal at Langlois Kronström Desjardins since June 2011.
Geneviève supports lawyers in the corporate department in matters involving securities and corporate law. Her duties include coordinating SEDAR filings. She prepares the documents required for annual meetings of public companies. She also incorporates and dissolves companies and deals with extra-provincial corporations as well.
She examines minute books as part of the due diligence process and ensures they have been properly kept. She also performs various searches in provincial and federal registries and on-line data bases, analyzes the results and prepares search reports in support of legal opinions rendered by the firm. |
