Description
Patrick Goudreau has extensive experience in business law, insolvency, real estate and intellectual property matters. A seasoned litigator, he often represents domestic and international clients before all levels of the courts, including the Québec Superior Court, Court of Appeal and the federal courts.
Patrick has special expertise in pan-Canadian and international commercial transactions. In that area he has represented private and parastatal European companies involved in fields such as energy, entertainment and retail sales that have made acquisitions and expanded their operations in Canada.
He is very involved with the American Bar Association (ABA). Since May 2011 he has been the liaison for the ABA’s Section of International Law with the Québec Bar, and has been Vice President of its International Commercial Transactions, Franchising and Distribution Committee since 2010.
