Description
Marie-Christine Marcoux has been a paralegal at Langlois Kronström Desjardins since October 2010. She supports lawyers in matters involving mergers, acquisitions and corporate reorganizations, and also incorporates and dissolves companies.
As part of her duties, Marie-Christine examines minute books as part of the due diligence process and ensures they have been properly kept. She also performs various searches in provincial and federal registries and on-line data bases, analyzes the results and prepares search reports in support of legal opinions rendered by the firm.
Before joining Langlois Kronström Desjardins, Marie-Christine worked for ten years at various law firms, and for the last five years at Investissement Québec in the taxation department, primarily as a corporate tax-credit applications analyst. |
