The Best Lawyers® in Canada 2012 directory is based on the results of an exhaustive nationwide survey involving detailed evaluations by leading lawyers of their professional peers. Over its 28-year history, Best Lawyers® has become the preeminent guide to legal excellence among lawyers and the general public.

The lawyers being honoured as “Lawyers of the Year” were selected because they received particularly high ratings from most of their peers. Only a single lawyer in each practice area in each community is honoured as “Lawyer of the Year”.  This is thus a tremendous honour for Lucien Godbout and Michel Jolin in the Québec City region.
