Tina Hobday and Paule Veilleux appointed to the Committee on Discipline of the Quebec Bar
On October 15, 2009, the Quebec Bar's General Council appointed Tina Hobday and Paule Veilleux, partners at Langlois Kronström Desjardins, as members of the Committee on Discipline of the Quebec Bar. The Committee on Discipline is composed of three individuals: the Chair - a lawyer appointed by the Quebec government - and two other lawyers appointed by the Quebec Bar.  It is an independent administrative tribunal that hears all complaints filed against lawyers pursuant to the Professional Code, in order to protect the public.

Tina Hobday, Conference Speaker for the Association of Social Work Boards

Tina Hobday, a partner in the Montréal office of Langlois Kronström Desjardins, was a speaker for the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) at its Spring Education Meeting. The event was held from May 13 to 16 at the Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston, South Carolina. On Saturday, May 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tina Hobday and ASWB legal advisor Dale Atkinson shared a session entitled Legal Issues Confronting Boards Faced with Shifting Resources.
