Québec City, September 17, 2008—Langlois Kronström Desjardins is happy to salute the exceptional contribution of its strategic consultant Jean-Paul L’Allier to the development of urban planning, a contribution celebrated through the creation of Ordre des urbanistes du Québec’s Jean-Paul L’Allier Prize.
“Jean-Paul L’Allier has had a remarkable impact in Quebec at several levels. The creation of this prize is a testament to the significance of his work in urban planning and an honor for which we offer him our sincere congratulations. Beginning in 2009, the Jean-Paul L’Allier Prize will be awarded annually by Ordre des urbanistes du Québec to an elected official in Québec who has distinguished him or herself for vision, leadership, and achievements in urban and land use planning. The prize will be given out on World Town Planning day, held on November 8.
