Québec City, June 1, 2009—The law firm Langlois Kronström Desjardins was delighted to give $20,000 during the 22nd Opération Enfant Soleil telethon over the weekend to help sick children throughout Quebec.
“We are proud to offer this $20,000 donation, which reflects our firm’s commitment to the cause and the tremendous generosity of our entire team,” said managing partner Jean-François Gagnon. “This is the first year we have held a fundraiser for Opération Enfant Soleil, and the results clearly show that we are a large firm with a human touch.”
In May, Langlois Kronström Desjardins held a variety of fundraising activities in its Montréal, Québec City, and Lévis offices. The human values that are important to Langlois Kronström Desjardins are central to the mission of Opération Enfant Soleil, which seeks to help sick children by ensuring high quality care. Opération Enfant Soleil supports thousands of families in Québec, where Langlois Kronström Desjardins does business. Langlois Kronström Desjardins is the only large law firm to have made Opération Enfant Soleil its principal charitable cause.
Founded in 1988, Opération Enfant Soleil is a nonprofit organization that raises funds to support high quality pediatrics and social development projects for all Quebec children.
