Montréal, February 4, 2009 — Langlois Kronström Desjardins is pleased to announce the appointment on January 26, 2009 of one of its partners, Me Gerry Apostolatos, as Vice-President of the Canadian Bar Association-Quebec Division. His mandate is effective immediately and will run until August, 2010. Mr. Apostolatos is an active member of this association's Executive and of its Business Law Section as well as a voting member of the National Council of the Canadian Bar Association.
A seasoned attorney in commercial and corporate litigation as well as a strategic advisor, Gerry Apostolatos has litigated before various courts including the Supreme Court of Canada. He is also an expert renowned for his work in insolvency and corporate restructuring matters.
