Montreal, July 22, 2008 – The Langlois Kronström Desjardins law firm is pleased to announce that three new recruits will be starting their careers at our Québec City and Lévis offices on July 28. They will be sworn in on July 25.
Martine Bergeron and Renée-Maude Vachon-Therrien completed their Bachelor of Law degrees at Université Laval, and will be based in our Québec City office.
Martine Bergeron et Renée-Maude Vachon Therrien ont complété leur baccalauréat en droit à l’Université Laval et seront basées à notre bureau de Québec. will be working in business law and commercial litigation. In addition to her Bachelor of Law, Martine has completed a Master of Business Administration, Co-operative Programme, at Université de Sherbrooke.
MartineRenée-Maude will be workingva œuvrer dans les secteurs du droit des affaires et du litige commercial. En plus de son baccalauréat en droit, Martine a complété une maîtrise en administration des affaires, programme coopératif, à l’Université de Sherbrooke. in the Litigation group. In the course of her university studies, she participated in the Willem C. Vis Moot, a moot court competition in international commercial arbitration held in Vienna. She made the Dean's Honour Roll in the Faculty of Law.
René-MaudeMarie-Ève Malenfant, also a Université Laval graduate, will be working in civil law and labour relations sera rattachée au secteur des assurances. Durant ses études universitaires, elle a participé au Willem C. Vis, un concours de plaidoirie en arbitrage commercial international ayant lieu à Vienne. Elle figure au Tableau d’honneur du doyen de la Faculté de droit. at our Lévis office. She was a member of the duo that took home second prize in the Pierre-Basile Mignault Moot Competition in 2007 and was awarded a prize for best thesis.
