Description
Fabrice Vil joined Langlois Kronström Desjardins in 2005. He began his career as a lawyer at the firm in 2007, after being seconded to the legal department of a multinational transportation company.
Fabrice practices in the areas of both civil and commercial litigation and public and administrative law, primarily in complex files (including class actions) concerning such matters as professional liability and discipline, the independence of the judiciary, and commercial disputes involving industries such as banking, healthcare, information technology and transportation.
Fabrice is also actively involved in the Montreal business community, notably with the Jeune Chambre de commerce haitienne, which promotes the participation of young professionals and entrepreneurs from the Haitian community in all aspects of economic activity in Quebec.

Arbitration - Contractual Dispute
Member of the team that represented a client in a commercial arbitration against an information-technology services provider concerning performance of an outsourcing contract.
Commercial litigation - Commercial Lease
Member of the team that represented the owner of real estate in a dispute with a potential tenant. The decision rendered in this case, Seltzer v. 1476 Crescent Properties Inc., 2009 QCCS 5497, clarified the state of the law on declaratory judgments.
